Matcha Latte ~ A Cautionary Tale

You probably know about the incredible health benefits found in Green Tea.

One of the most important is catechin. Catechin is a flavanol (antioxidant). It’s great for your heart and blood flow and Matcha is a rich source.

However, a protein found in cow’s milk reacts with catechin and decreases the health benefits. It won’t cause harm, but it doesn’t give the maximum boost.

So, when making your customer a Matcha Latte always use a milk substitute (for taste oat is best)
