This is the most widely-drunk tea in Japan.

Genmaicha means ‘Rice Tea’

It is literally made with a combination of Bancha tea and roasted or ‘popped’ rice grain.

The taste is delicious sweet nut and caramel.

A further benefit of Genmaicha is that it is low in caffeine. This means you can treat yourself to an extra cup!
